# Open Sessions with Auggie

> Start a Session without an Expert to work directly with Auggie — ask codebase questions, plan features, and explore code.

## Open Sessions

Sometimes you don't want a configured Expert — you just want to ask Auggie something. Open a session without one, hand it a question, and keep going from there. Works from the webapp or your phone.

1. **Start a session** at [https://app.augmentcode.com/app/home](https://app.augmentcode.com/app/home) on your computer or phone.
2. **Ask anything** — type a question into the "Ask anything…" box with your Environment selected.
3. **Iterate** — follow up, refine, and keep the conversation going in the same session.
