How it works

Mark the PR or MR ready for review. Review Experts analyze the change. If changes are needed, PR Author or PR Fixer handles fixes allowed by your settings or requested by you. The updated change is checked again before you decide whether to merge. Reviewers work independently, not in a fixed sequence. When configured, Verifier also tests the running behavior. The dashboard gathers their findings and test results in one place; your team makes the final merge decision.

Where you participate

  • Choose automatic fixing and approval settings. Decide which feedback, CI failures, and conflicts Experts may fix, and whether low-risk changes can be approved automatically.
  • Review the evidence. Inspect findings, repairs, and verification gaps. Authorize Pair Reviewer before it posts comments or a verdict during interactive review.
  • Make the final merge. Agent approval is not a merge. A human decides and performs it.

Template Experts

  • Risk Analyzer: assesses risk against your approval policy.
  • Deep Reviewer: finds correctness defects and repository-guideline violations.
  • Pair Reviewer: helps a person review architecture, context, and tradeoffs.
  • PR Fixer / existing PR Author: repairs findings, failing checks, and conflicts. Author maintains its own changes; Fixer handles others.
  • Verifier: exercises behavior and records evidence and limitations.
  • PR Dashboard Manager: summarizes status, reviewed commits, and evidence.
  • Code Review Memory: captures reusable guidance from reviews and human feedback.

Set it up

  1. Connect your code host and repository. Prepare an Environment with repository access and test tools.
  2. Configure selected components with Cosmos Advisor. Check Automatic Fixing and Auto-approval & Pair Review; see the full pipeline guide for details. Enable runtime verification only when a runnable environment, test access, and instructions are ready.
  3. Complete setup and approve activation. Open a PR or MR ready for review, or mark a draft ready. Inspect the dashboard and automation run history for findings and requests for human input.
