Data Analyst is a vendor-neutral analyst that answers questions about your data with read-only queries against your source-of-truth datasets, naming the source and window for every answer. It depends on a data guide you supply — which dataset is authoritative for each domain, how to query it, and the metric definitions; without one it asks rather than guesses. Queries run through read-only tooling in the environment, so data credentials are supplied as Cosmos secrets rather than inlined.- Best for: Teams who want a single, authoritative place to ask data questions and get answers that always cite their source and window.
