Sign into Augment
After you have installed the Augment extension, you will need to sign into your account to start using your new superpowers.
About Signing into Augment
You can sign into Augment using one of the supported identity providers–Google or Microsoft–or sign in using your email address. During the process, you will be redirected to your browser to sign into your account.
Sign in
Click the Augment icon in the status bar
Click the Augment icon
in the status bar of your IDE. If you are using Visual Studio Code, you will
be asked to confirm that you would like to open an external website.
Sign into your Augment account
In your browser, choose the identity provider you would like to use to sign into Augment, or use your email address.
Accept the terms and conditions
After signing in, you may be asked to accept the terms and conditions. During the beta period, you will be asked to accept the terms each time you login.
Start using Augment
You will be redirected back to to your IDE and you will see the Augment icon
change to
.
If this is your first time using Augment, you may see the syncing icon
in the status bar. Once the sync is complete, you will see the Augment icon
.

Sign out
Click the Augment icon in the status bar
Click the Augment icon
in the status bar of your IDE.
Click Sign Out
Sign Out from the commands menu.You are now signed out of Augment
You will see the icon changed to
and you will be signed out of Augment in all of your active workspaces.
